Mallalli Water Falls Coorg

This falls in the region of western ghats of Somwarpet taluk, Coorg District, the elevation of this falls is 1,027 meters from the sea level, Mallalli falls located near Pushpagiri peak. The nearest village is bidalli which is 2.8 km from Mallalli Water falls, it falls from the height of 62 meters which formed from Kumaradhara river. It is surrounded with greenery of beautiful trees the breathtaking place which can see from view point. This is also trekking spot which near to pushpagiri peak (Famous place known for trekkers in Western Ghats region), best place to take adventures trips. Pleasant time to visit this place is between July to December which is season of rain, that make falls flows well.



The Green valley’s in this region is the perfect location for trek and expedition, creatures and different kinds of insects common. In the summer the Mallalli falls flowing normally, we not recommend to visit in the month of January to May, rain season is the best time to visit.

Mallalli falls is not only around this place , because this is rain forest and Ghats section so there are many falls within the forest, that is not reachable from common visitors, because that is deeper in the forest with wild animals and poisonous snakes and other insects can disturb instantly.

Where to stay around Mallalli falls:
There is no accommodation in and around this place, Somwarpet and Sanivarsante is the nearest town to have good hotels and resorts, But there are many Homestay with good facility within coffee and cardamom plantation.

Climate around Mallalli falls:
It’s very cool in the rain season, rain falling complete in the day. Winter is normal and pleasant. Hot is far away from this place, the structure of this region keep this place pleasant.

How to reach Mallalli Falls:
It’s around 25 km from somwarpet town and 270 km from Bangalore city. And 2.8 km from nearest village called Bidalli. Visitors must trek for small distance to reach this place and enjoy the scenery.
