Yaana is the very interesting geographical sight in India, there are many interesting rocks within evergreen forest of Sahyadri mountains. It is exactly 25 km from Kumta, Kumta is small coastal town. This rocks are very different when comparing to normal rocks in the world, this is the only place with great scientific background. Many foreign and domestic scientists, explorer searching for the background of this rocks. There is Shivalings in the large cave in one of this rock. Devotees call it Gangodbhava. Tourists know well about this place for it’s majestic mountains, waterfalls and holy temples. Tallest rock peak is Bhariraveshwara Shikara stands 120 meters high from it’s base, another one is Mohini Shikara which is stands 90 meters from its base. These rocks very rich in limestone, manganese and iron.

For the Major accommodation like luxury hotels, hospitals, airport, it’s better to ride to Mangalore. You can also ride to Goa for Airport (this is also one of the nearest City from yana).
