Kudremukh is the Beautiful Mountain range in Chikmagalur District. It is also the name of the famous hill station town situated close to the mountain, the word Kudremukh literally means 'Horse Face' and the view of the side of the mountains resembles the same, so the Place named as Kudremukh. The climate in the Kudremukh National Park is cool and pleasant that makes animals spotting everywhere, but in the monsoon that difficult to spot Animals. The season best for trekking except monsoon, so the best season in from October to February.

- The trekking leading from Samse - Kudremukh - Samse the trek time around 4 days, the distance is about 40 km.
- The routes come through Navoor - Hevala - Kudremukh - Navoor, the avg time of the trek is 5 days and distance is over 60 km.
- This route is from Horanadu to Sringeri with duration of 3 day and covering total distance of more than 30 km.
- Another route is Navoor – Kudremukh – Samse, the duration for this trek is about 5 days and the total distance of around 50 km.
