Kheer Recipes

Ingredients:
  • 3 Tablespoons rice
  • 1 Ltr. Milk
  • 8-10 teaspoons sugar
  • Cardamom powder
  • A few raisins and almonds
Method:
  1. Remove the skin of almonds by boiling in water, Cut into long strips.
  2. In a casserole, put milk and the washed rice.
  3. Allow to cook till milk becomes thick and rice is cooked.
  4. Then add sugar and raisins.
  5. Again cook for atleast 5-7 mins.
  6. Remove from the gas and let the kheer cool.
  7. Add the almonds, Cardamon powder and serve cold.
