Vegetable Palav Recipes

Ingredients:
  • 2 teacups uncooked rice
  • 3 sliced Onions
  • 2 boiled Carrots
  • 2 boiled Potatoes
  • 1 Coconut
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 Cloves crushed garlic
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • Tomato ketchup
Method:
  1. Boil the rice. Make sure each grain of cooked rice in separate.
  2. Cut potatoes and carrots into big pieces.
  3. Slice the onions.
  4. Fry the onion in frypan. Add garlic, turmeric powder, cloves along with the vegetables and fry again.
  5. Add the cooked rice, tomato ketchup and salt.
  6. Cover and cook on slow heat for 15 minutes until rice is soft.
  7. Remove and garnish with the remaining sliced onions and serve hot.
