Ingredients:
- 4 Cups grated fresh Coconuts
- 2 -21/2 Cups Sugar
- 1 cup Milk
- In small vessel dissolve the saffron in 1 cup milk.
- Mix the grated coconut and sugar in a casserole and put on gas on low heat. Keep on strirring.
- After the sugar melts in the coconut mixture, add milk and saffron and go on cooking till the mixture becomes thick.
- To test if done, remove a small portion and see if a ball is formed with fingers.
- When ready, put in a thali and cut into desired shapes.
